ok heres how i see it theres too maney flaws in the bible i do beleave theres some sort of higher being out there its just if in Christian perspective u can just beleave in god ect then u go to heaven but if u are a perfect being up to your death then u sin u go to hell i mean thats ****ed up i also beleave jesus wasnt born on 12/25 cause in the bible it say there were ppl farming this makes me think that god may be real but the bibles been messed with so much that u dont kno wut it realy said who knos maybe god used the Evolution to make the world i think that thats wut happined gods real and he used Evolution to make the world but no one will ever realy kno unless we can some way look into the past but how we gonna do that

Why? Isn't that the theory? But I don't care if it was two rocks or two pizza pies adding too much ham and pepperoni, it is absurd for people to say that this happened 15 billion years ago with no recorded documents. On the other hand, there ARE recorded documents with healings of cancer overnight due to praying to the Saints, with no scientific explanation.

-Then what does it mean? Yes, most died, but all that means is God performed some miracles for the faithful perhaps to strengthen our faith. If God gave man EVERYTHING they asked for, if EVERY pray was answered, could you imagine the chaos? If you have seen the movie 'Bruce Almighty' (which comes to mind,) some prayers are meant NOT to be answered but that's not for us to determine.

True, you are correct, all peoples have abused people throughout history. Martin Luther was correct with some of his TEACHINGS not his ACTS. Some of the people of the Catholic Church were and still are corrupt, but not the Church itself, for if it were, then Christ would be corrupt.

No, you are wrong. The Big Bang is a THEORY. God is NOT. What else could have created something out of nothing if there is not God? That in itself is proof of God, forget all the countless miracles that science has documented and failed to explain. Or are we just a figment of our imagination?

The best document is probably the Universe itself. How do we know about the Big Bang? The idea is used because of the so called "Red shift", which scientists have observed. This means that other suns are moving away from ours, meaning the Universe is continously expanding at a faster and faster rate. This has been calculated backwards and gave us the approximate time at which the Universe started to spread outwards. That time is not 6000 years ago.

Have you ever met Christ? How do you know he wasn't corrupt? History is written by the victors, anything could have been written by any loony in the Bible and people would believe it.

Guess what, there are recordings far older than that, take ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, they date back far longer than 6000 years. So...did 'God' write these up before he made the Universe?

But how does God then determine? I assume you're talking about the all-loving OT God. I would call the miracles Jesus performed as very arbitrary. I would agrue that a God that performs miracles at all is not worth worshipping. How can a good God solve a trivial problem of wine running out at a wedding and yet would not save the thousands starving in Sudan right now? If he was doing them then to strengthen our faith, why doesn't he perform a miracle now that so many people are breaking away from the church?

Also, the explosion isn't two things banging together, no idea where you got that from DR. And even if two big ass rocks did bang together now, they wouldn't cause an explosion, they'd just mash eachother under the pressure and bits would be shot off all over the place.

We could also be way totally off on our theories. Like maybe evolution and a superior being (other wise known as God) are the same thing. Who knows? Wait.. NOBODY knows. This debate betweens beliefs will never ever be solved until your dead.

I still believe in God, like i said earlier, but i question why he doesn't solve big tragedies going on today in the world. Also what i said earlier about how it is coincidence that we have everything to live + more. Could evolution grow feelings (like love, hate, anger, happyness, sadness, etc..) in human beings?

You could also argue different kinds of religion. But if you look into the other religions, they seem to be talking about the same thing. Look at Islam, they believe in Muhammed as their holy god, maybe God and Muhammed are the same. And when Muhammed talked to Abraham, maybe Abraham is the same person as Jesus. We could have mixed our information up over time, kind of like we misinterpret things.

The south park version of this is, is that aliens put thousands of different species on earth (like deer, humans, monkeys, giraffs, ducks, etc...) for some big universal t.v show.
That makes about as much sense as evolution and religion really.

It's so hard to argue/debate this subject. I mean there is no proof for either side. No use in worrying about it while your living, because once you die, you find out the real truth.

I have 2 tings to say. first...... I dare u to look under the cups of in-n-out burger. 2nd How come it says gods love is unconditional and in another part it says u will go to if u sin? think.

The only thing I'm THINKing about is, trying to make sense of what you just said.
