Common Problems & Solutions

*** AURORA PROBLEMS? *** Please see our Aurora Knowledge Base.

Google has incorrectly determined that our software is malicious due to the way that trainers work and the reason they often get flagged by antivirus software. ALL DOWNLOADS FROM OUR SITE ARE 100% SAFE AND FREE OF ANY ADWARE, SPYWARE OR MALICIOUS CONTENT. You have two options. One is to find a better alternative browser that doesn't block our downloads (or use our Trainer Manager to download) or two, you can disable the feature in Chrome that blocks our downloads. To do this, click the 3 vertical dots in Chrome and go to Settings. Click on Privacy and Security in the left hand column. Then click MORE on the right to show additional privacy and security controls. Click the Safe Browsing and disable it with the slider. This will allow our downloads to come through with no problem. We apologize for this inconvenience but we have no control over what Google deems safe or un-safe.
Solution 1:
If you are using a browser extension/addon called DUCKDUCKGO (https://duckduckgo.com) then this is likely the cause of your problem. They are blocking our downloads for no reason. Please go into your extensions/addons settings and disable or uninstall this addon/extension and see if it helps.
Solution 1:
Use this page to have a Password Reset link sent to the same email you use when you sign in.

Please note that if your account is locked as a result of too many login attempts, you will have to wait 1-2 hours to use your new password as your account will still be locked for that duration.

Solution 1:
All of the files on our site have been scanned by multiple anti-virus products and are clean. However, it is common for some of our trainers to generate false positives with certain antivirus products. Please see our dedicated page for anti-virus related issues and solutions.
Solution 1:
Most trainers include a readme or NFO file that describes how to use the various options. If you're not sure how to use a trainer in general, please visit our trainer troubleshooting guide for detailed instructions along with an instructional video.
Solution 1:
Your download is being blocked by something on your system, typically a browser extension or addon or your AV, firewall and other security software. Some of these browser addons are still active even when your security software is disabled. We suggest temporarily disabling all AV, firewall and other security software including browser extensions and addons and then trying the download again.
Solution 1:
Cheat Happens is a Software as a Service Company. Cheat Happens offers two different types of personalized software downloads, those that are purchased individually and those that are downloaded via a membership. Beginning on January 1, 2019, an active (non-expired) membership will be required for personalized trainers to continue to function. The only exceptions to this are those trainers that were purchased individually and/or those people that are eligible to download an offline key. Once a membership expires, all trainers will become disabled and will be unable to authenticate online until the membership is renewed or brought back to active status. Once that happens, previously banned trainers will work again. Expired accounts may be renewed here.
Solution 1:
Offline keys for older, stand-alone trainers may be downloaded from our Trainer Troubleshooting page. Note that offline keys are only available to active Yearly and Lifetime premium subscribers. Offline keys for AURORA are downloaded within the Aurora settings page and also is dependent on membership type.

Solution 1:
Make sure your account has not been deactivated and that your premium subscription has not expired. An active premium subscription is required for trainers to authenticate except those that are purchased individually. Accounts can become deactivated for a number of reasons. If you are able to login to the website successfully then your account is not deactivated, but your subscription may have expired. You can renew your subscription here.

Solution 2:
Temporarily disable/uninstall all antivirus, firewall and other security software. This type of issue can be caused by interference of third party software, typically security software. This also includes Windows Defender. Some security products will still block or interfere with trainers even when disabled. Some must be completely uninstalled or the trainer and its temporary files whitelisted. Consult your security product documentation for instruction on how to do this.

Solution 3:
Make sure you fully extract the trainer from the .rar, .zip or .zipx archive before trying to run it. When running it, please right click on the trainer .exe file and choose "Run as Administrator". It may also be necessary to do this on the game as well. Trainers need full Windows permission to access the game in memory and create temporary files. It may also be necessary to give full permissions to the Windows TEMP folder.

Solution 4:
Plug your PC directly into the internet bypassing all network firewalls and routers. Sometimes an external device can block trainer authentication.

Solution 5:
Obtain an OFFLINE KEY. Note that offline keys only work when the network/internet connection is completely disabled/absent.

Solution 1:
Windows Media Player must be installed for trainer sounds to work. Please confirm that you have it installed. It can be found in Windows 10 under Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional Features > Add a Feature and then find the Media Feature Pack. Be sure to restart your PC after adding.

Solution 1:
Please make sure you download and install BOTH .NET Core files here:
Download: dotnet-core 3.1.11 x64
Download: dotnet-core 3.1.11 x32
