I appreciate the suggestion Genghis_Quan96 and PWizard. However, changing the GameGuard.des file to be GameGuard2.des in the bin folder and in the GameGuard folder inside the bin folder did not resolve the The module name 'game.dll' does not exist! error. I did notice that in the video, contrary to what the instructions are, the GameGuard.des file was not renamed to GameGuard2.des and instead had the extension changed. If that is the correct thing to do, can you please update the instructions? The text is too small for me to read what extension you changed it to in the video, but I assume that's where the issue is coming from.
It is possible that I'm activating the trainer too soon, which would also make sense given the error being output. I'll try holding off until a second into the screen going black and will update findings.

I don't know that it matters what you rename the GameGuard.des file to... I just made it GameGuard.bak

How can I solve this problem?
Wait until after you get a black-screen window from the actual Helldivers2 app launching before you activate the trainer. You'll have 1-2 secs to activate the trainer from the time the black screen pops up. When you do it before the black screen, the trainer can't detect the app.
