03-12-2024: Well, since we are gluttons for punishment, we decided to give this game another whirl, this time kicking it old school with a STANDALONE trainer (NO AURORA). READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!
Make sure Aurora is NOT RUNNING. Close all programs that would be detected by the game Anticheat such as Cosmos, CoSMOS, Aurora, etc.
Run the .exe file you downloaded from Cheat Happens. (right click Run as Admin and temp disable all AV/Security software)
You can run it anywhere but it is BETTER to NOT run it from the game directory.
Play game normally. NO TRAINER WILL POP UP ON THE SCREEN. THIS IS NORMAL.
Trainer basically gives you many of the trainer option advantages that the original trainers did. Options are ALL ON by default, and this is due to the anticheat.
THIS TRAINER IS CODED WITH ACCOUNT ID. IF YOU SHARE THIS TRAINER, IT WILL BE DEACTIVATED and your ACCOUNT WILL BE BANNED. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

03.07.2024: Thanks for everyone's patience. New trainer is posted. ***NEW INSTRUCTIONS!!!*** Very important.
IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE ACTIVATING, TRY AT DIFFERENT SCREENS AND DIFFERENT TIMESTrainer is ONLY FOR, and ONLY WILL WORK FOR games that are PRIVATE and you are PLAYING SOLO.
Trainer has been updated with NEW INSTRUCTIONS that are WAY DIFFERENT than the last instructions.
The trainer comes with a program attached called Helldivers2Launcher.exe
You need to place it in the same directory as the Helldivers 2.exe, usually here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin
DO NOT LAUNCH THE GAME USING STEAM!
Launch the game by double clicking the Helldivers2Launcher.exe once you place it in that folder.
The game will launch.
WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE AT MAIN MENU or WALKING AROUND AT THE SHIP before ACTIVATING the trainer!
The trainer can then be used as normal after that.

02.25.2024: Another day and all is well. Trainer still tested and working 100%. PLUS we have added a complete step-by-step tutorial video for those that need it. Please note that as it seems that maybe the game devs finally grew tired of playing tug of war with us, I will now only post if the trainer has STOPPED working. FYI

02.22.2024: The game devs released a patch this morning and some people reported that it broke the trainer.
NOT TRUE. You will need to go through all the steps again, including replacing the .exe because the patch overwrote the one you may have put in there previously. Make sure you are in a SOLO/PRIVATE game. Trainer options tested and working 100%. I can make a new video if necessary.

02.21.2024 #2: ....and we're back! Trainer has been updated and working 100% once again plus another new trainer option. Please note that the instructions have changed slightly so please give them a read or else your game will fail to load. Note that the included game.exe with the latest trainer
HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED IN ANY WAY AND DOES NOT CIRCUMVENT ANY COPY PROTECTION. IT IS OF NO USE TO ANYONE EXCEPT THOSE THAT LEGALLY PURCHASED THE GAME. Be aware that if the game patches or you verify your game files via Steam then you will need to re-do the trainer instructions. We have no idea how long this new trainer will last so enjoy it while you can.
Cannot find the file in Aurora? Open trainer in Aurora and then switch to trainer settings. There is a button to show trainer attachments.

02.21.2024: Just a quick update that we believe we have a new working solution for the latest HD2 patch but are still testing. It seems that the game devs are more interested in preventing you from cheating in your own SOLO/PRIVATE game than they are at increasing server capacity so that you don't have to queue for 3 hours every time you want to play the brand new game you just bought. Sad really. More info later today.

02.20.2024: Our game of cat and mouse with the game devs continues as they once again patched out our trainer this afternoon. Game back ON HOLD while we investigate.

02.18.2024: You guys didn't really think that we would give up that easily did you? Shame on you if you did. Trainer is now back working 100% and on ACTIVE status. We even added the requested HEALTH cheat. Note that there are a couple of extra steps this time around but they only need to be done ONCE and you are good to go. Check the readme for instructions. 02.16.2024: After closer examination, we have come to the conclusion that the game devs have forced an update to the game's anti-cheat system that intentionally blocks Aurora and CoSMOS from accessing the game. Sadly the game must be RETIRED at this time. We could choose to go down the road of telling everyone how to defeat the GameGuard anti-cheat software so the trainer would work again, but this would lead to rampant multiplayer cheating in both this game and all other titles protected by GameGuard and that's just not who we are. We did everything on the up and up, making sure our trainer only worked in SOLO/PRIVATE games and choosing options that had no impact on the game's microtransactions. Our trainer had NO IMPACT on other players but unfortunately the game devs don't want you to be able to play the game you purchased YOUR WAY, only THEIR WAY, even if that includes months and months of grinding just to try and see all of the game you paid for. What now? You can petition the game devs to release this block on our software and our trainer will work perfectly fine again and be placed back on ACTIVE status. Alternatively, you may be able to refund the game via Steam which would definitely send a clear message to the game devs. In the end, we invested a lot of time and resources, did our best and succeeded where all others either failed or didn't even try. That's all we can ever do as some things are just out of our hands. We hope everyone can understand.
