Knightpress, would it be possible to enable allied access to the axis tanks.

Knightpress has been doing very good job. I would not be surprised, if he uncovers somewhere deep in the game British navy aircraft carrier to be built in some pieces of slops of water in the game or German U Boat submarine or some cruiser or any other dish.

Well, yes I could, however I won't because that would pretty much ruin the axis vs. allies situation. Letting the axis and allies mingle among themselves is what I had intended to do and accomplished, however letting the sides use the weaponry of the other doesn't particularly sit well with me.

There were of course many instances of allies commandeering axis materiel for their own immediate needs when their own weaponry wasn't available or in sufficient supply, however seeing a King Tiger in full Wehrmacht markings fighting side by side with a squad of rangers and supported by M4's isn't a particularly appealing thought to me.

The actual units of each side will be kept to their appropriate allegiances.

Well, i think Ansalon got a point if anyone wants to play something new well its not bad to try some chaotic battle field!
But in a realistic perspective it's wrong and all the efforts that
has been done will be for nothing, as we all saw the path thats has been overcome by Knightpress had an obvious aim, to make the war more real not fictional or starting a Starcraft episode in the middle of the OF!

In celebration of over 7,000 downloads now (by personal hosting and Cheat Happens), as well as the date being 8-8-08 (yesterday) I tinkered with the game a bit more and stumbled across some very polished icons for the Pantherturm and Mortar Bunker which put my 5 minute works to shame

Those are now added in place of my originals, I've also gone back and touched up the Vickers machine gun team icon I made so there isn't such an over-pronounced alpha around the icon's face. The king tiger has a very modest change, I removed the annoying "plus" that symbolized the Blitzkrieg doctrine's King Tiger Reinforcement ability, now it's just the tank in all it's awesomeness.

But wait! There's more!

I've added the Tetrarch tank to the British and Americans, and while the applications for light tanks are limited, they sure are cute and fun to tinker with
