This was about a later achievement (which we might go into later) of a priest who brought up the problem of gay priests (which was stated as bad). I now recognize that there are gay priests, but I along with the church, bible, and this article, agree

    2nd Link
The section in here that mentioned gays was about gay mairriage(sp?) which the article stated was being dealt with. It also included the idea of women priests (which I by the way have no problem with.)

    3rd Link
This was about, as NarutoKid said, a sorry excuse for a priest. He is a gay mairriage opposer, however a male prostitute recognized him as an, err... customer. He resigned after this.

    4th Link
This one, of course i didn't feel like reading all the way through at 10:30pm. However, at a glance I didn't see anything about gayness. Point it out to me if you see it.

    Good Night

I was agreeing to magiki who said the church quotes from the bible, no one said anything about anyone here quoting. Maybe you should read more carefully.

I could argue that Christians ARE the church. Second of all, you're stereotyping, and not for the first time. My pastor gives few quotes. Those are used as revisitable summaries of a valid point he already made. Third, any quotes given in ministering to you guys usually comes after, "oh yeah? Where's it written?" Fourth, if this is "getting even," note that I said to listen to your OWN [sides'... shoulda put that earlier] posts, so this is in no way a witty comeback. LASTLY, science works both ways...

Remember--Ephesians mentions no "back plate" in the the Armor of God. Don't run away.

If you're talking to ES, let me direct you to the five gold stars beside his avatar (before he does himself). Besides, it was on topic.

    To ES
I've never heard of "The Root Of All Evil" so I have no reply.

EDIT: In addition to my post at the top of the page, let me say that nothing said anything about the Church accepting it as a whole, just individually corrupt figures.

You could argue that, but there'd be no point as thats not what I mean.
By 'church' I mean The highest officials such as the Pope, cardinals, arch bishops etc.
Wtf am I stereotyping? i never said your pastor quotes and contradicts himself, and I never said they all do.
I'm referring to contradicting quotes such as "turn the other cheek" and "an eye for an eye"
You're pretty hostile for a christian you know, chill out, god loves you.
