Bro, there is no Int32 on the value type.
Use Value Type = 2 Bytes
this is the key to getting this to work for essence.
i have been doing this over and over again because a few people said it worked while everyone else said it does not work.
i have been using the default for cosmos (4 byte) it works for everything else in the inventory so that's what i used for essence. but it would bug every time and i was unable to drop T1 essence thus unable to pick it up and add to my total.
for whatever reason 2byte works. and this is the key that those that got it working left out of there instructions till now. so for everyone having trouble with editing essence use 2 byte instead of 4 byte and try again.

Make sure you're using the cosmos advanced not the aurora built-in cosmos.

I did this with COSMOS in Admin Mode and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the tip!
Use Value Type = 2 Bytes
