How do you know what slot is what? some of them are the gear you are wearing too lol. Its very hard to find which one you want to change.

Yes, that makes it extremely tedious and slow. Hence me saying it's hard to tell which ones... since you have to do just what you said. Hence why I stated that there could be an eaiser way, or they could label them based on ABC, or something else, but the slots can line up if they state which one is which etc.

I have tried numerous times with numerous items.
When picking them back up, the quantity doesn't change.
trainer must be working fine if there are no update requests. try creating a new save and tryin again

I've found once you change the qty of the item you want, you need to change another slot to a 1 or something. This will change the actual stack you want to change.

When picking them back up, the quantity doesn't change.
This is the method that I use:
1. Activate the trainer
2. Open Inventory (you should see it update the numbers)
3. Change to selected quantity (make sure it is no longer highlighted)
4. Close your in game inventory
5. Re-open your inventory (you'll see the number updated) & DROP the item
6. Pick it back up (the game now recognizes the displayed and changed quantity of the items)
