For some reason when enabling the trainer the game will crash to desktop for some reason no clue what i am doing wrong

have you tried the trainer troubleshooting stuff? if so try reinstalling the game and if it still has issues, go ahead and put in a update request

I just bought the game game for my 10 year old so this is a fresh install of the game as well as first time using the trainer

Instructions in the trainer clearly explain you need to download the .dll and put it in the game directory.

If that doesn't work any more, you will have to wait until the developer of the .dll that allows the game to have trainers and mods updates it.

This Trainer has special instruction! and Trainer Attachments that are on many of the cheats that tell you that you need to do something before using a trainer s missing on this title within the Aurora app so i did not think to look at the read me

Game crashes are likely due to the game detecting changes to the game .exe.

You will need to use the file from:

github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/download/latest/RE8.zip

Like the trainer instructions say.

This game has anticheats, scanners, and all sorts of crashing issue. To use the trainer without these issues, there is a 3rd party fix that will allow the trainer to be used and to fix the graphics and anticheats crashes.

Go here:

github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/download/latest/RE8.zip

download that .zip.

Unzip the .zip and take the file:

dinput8.dll

and place it into your game directory, usually:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil Village BIOHAZARD VILLAGE

You won't need the other files, unless you want to try the game in VR mode.

Run the game and you will see that an overlay for VR is present. YOu can close it.

You can then activate the trainer, and hopefully all will go without crashes.

Credits and thanks to PRAYDOG for his work on this title for VR and to allow mods. If his mod isn't up to date then you will have to wait for it to be updated to allow the trainer to work again.

God mode doesn't work anymore, everything else works in this trainer but i'm still getting killed easily, something changed recently, to be honest last week I was fine and then all of a sudden no dice I realized god mode doesn't work, don't know if RE framework or *dll changed or something behind the game files updated behind the scenes.

Please put in an update request for this issue

Just a heads up that posts with issues here and not update requests, don't get looked at. Help yourselves and others by putting in that update request if the trainer is running into issues.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
