You guys keeps forgetting that devs dont get more money if you buy it at Epic. The company gets all that money and if you think they pay their devs more you are mistaken. Only indie devs get real profit cause they dont have an overlord over their heads.
This is true. The publisher gets more money, whether or not the actual developers see any more money off "Epic" than they would off of Steam comes down to how a given company's payroll is structured.
Does any of this matter when you wanna play? You all debate while i play BL3 on epic laucher. Have a good day, i will.
LoL
Steam is jut a launcher and steam deserve to die.
Who care about the launcher ?
I prefer to give more money to the dev instead of giving money to steam who do nothing with it ...
Also, preload will be available on the epic game store 48h before the launch ...
If you want to support Dev, then donate your money directly to the dev. Otherwise, you have no understanding of why people are boycotting Epic. All you know is that they take less from developers. They also give them less features from their store. Epic forces dev exclusivity if they wish to sell on their platform. Buying games from Epic is basically supporting China's communism. So yea, eff EPIC/Tencent. They are not getting 1 dime from me. If Devs so concern about getting less, they should start their own launchers like many others have done, Blizzard, Ubisoft, EA, etc... Your point falls on deaf ears and blind eyes.

You mean a client, and it may well be, but perhaps you weren't on steam when they were new, we struggled with 1$=1€, no refunds and other glaring issues. I don't like EG as a company or their client, it is vastly inferior to what steam offers in comparison, and then they added exclusivity to the oldest gaming platform in history, i don't need more reasons to despise them.
So no, Steam is not just another platform, it is 15 years of trial and error.
