I get this error about 50% of the time that I start trainers. I'm using Windows 10 64-bit, and I do not use AV software and currently even have Defender disabled, since it was messing with Civ 6. It's happened on Mafia III, Civ 6, Deus Ex: MD, pretty much all the more recent trainers. I haven't tried getting an offline key because when I close and restart the trainer it will work almost 100% of the time.

Yeh, we have fixed what was causing that issue and re-uploaded most of the affected trainers.

Delete those two trainers, clear cache, reboot and re-download the latest version of each and the problem should be solved. If not then something on your system has it cached.

Ok everybody who had problems with all the trainers and could not fix the "invalid trainer user"

Open windows search and type "disk cleanup"

open disk cleanup and chose the drive.

    Now tick/chose the following:
    Downloaded Program Files
    Temporary Internet Files
    System error memory dump files
    Delivery Optimization Files
    Recycle Bin
    Temporary Files
    Thumbnails

Do not tick/chose the first "Setup Log Files"
Repeat for every drive on pc

Doing this fixed the problem for me atleast. Ofcourse before this i flushed my DNS by running cmd and typing "ipconfig /flushdns" and then deleting my cache in all my web browser's

i had the invalid response for a moment on skyrims SE trainer but relaunching the same trainer and it was fine if it happens again and why im quoting you did you have to delete bad response trainers aswell as do the steps or did the steps of cleaning the computer fix it enough by itself?

you got to love the gaming world

i did both. i deleted all the trainers first and downloaded new ones, several times actually, then i did the fix. I happened upon it on google, something about win 10 having 7 different caches that can be cleaned/deleted lol
