What a ludicrous list. How could you possibly measure the happiness of a vast collective, the whole thing is outrageously subjective and ignores individual accountability and differences.

Is there more rehabilitation centers in one state than another, does that constitute a decline is generalised happiness? Maybe there is more religious idealism in one compared to another?

I realise there are certain environmental variables which may have an effect in some way but, not enough to say "hotter is happier" or "less crowded is happier", lets not forget deserts and parties. I am unwilling to accept any categorisation unless everyone was thoroughly interviewed and an average was taken.

Is it because they have simple lives and not much expenditure?

Or do they love Tornado's so much :P
