I bought the starter box way back in Basic Set 1, although I never really played with it. I'd have to say the most used deck was my classic by-the-book "Haymaker" deck (bonus points if you remember what the deck is based around)
    Wait...Who are you again?

How many Pokemon do they have now anyways? Like 20 million?

They must be running out of ideas that's for sure, i can see them resorting to looking at people's alias' on the Internet for inspiration.

From memory, Haymaker was designed to take out your opponent's Pokemon as opposed to making them running out of cards.

From memory there was a Mewtwo strategy that involved having 59 Psychic energy which is banned now.

It was a fighting type deck based around hitmonchan. His attacks were cheap, so one could really skimp on energy and other pokemon and load it up to the brim with trainer cards, which you could play more than one of per turn, meaning the deck hit very fast and very hard.
