    preferences.empire_script

looks like you can set unlimited ammo and unlimited time too

Wouldn't mind someone checking this out to see if this is true?

This was on Vista 64 bit of course.

Another interesting point is "Autoresolve_Difficulty" - set to 1 for testing

I use XP so I assume it'll be in "Documents and Settings/accountname".

Unlimited Ammo sounds nice. Thats one of the cheats I wanted and looks like it should work. I'm going to give it a look at later. I'll look anyways but did you find anything about "fatigue"? In other words its unit tiredness.

The only time I have ran out of ammo is with my artillery, so it wont help that much. As for the auto resolve, I think it does help, but it's hard to tell. Anyone find anything similar with forcing the enemy to surrender without having a huge army?

Edit: How about trying to enable the console?

edit again: although if somebody with program knowledge that can test that sort of script it maybe possible. I just don't see it in the main.pck or the script file.

    On XP its located in:

    [drive]:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

Remember to turn on "show hidden folders and files" in folder options.

My line infantry often run out of ammo. Unfortunatly "limitless_ammo" is set to "true" already. I can only assume then that this is for the artillery. My artillery do have Inf Ammo because I play it on easy mode. I'm not a very good player of the total war games so I normally play it on easy mode (I'm not a hardcore player).

Still though, its a very good find. Not many options to play with but handy to have non the less.

    Edit:

Found something weird. My Limitless ammo string is not normal. Its like this:

    limitless_ammo true; # show_cpu_moves [true|false], Enable/disable Infinite ammo on battlefields #

    It should be this:

    limitless_ammo true; # limitless_ammo [true|false], Enable/disable Infinite ammo on battlefields #

All the other strings are like the second one. Maybe this is causing the limiteless ammo string to not work. I wonder... lol. I'm going to go and test this.

PS. [true|false] use < and > not the []. For some reason it wouldn't show in the post.
