i know this is an older game, but thought i'd give it a go. love the edits and they would be very helpful.. i have found the balance.txt and edited it to my liking, but i cant overwrite or save it!. i am administrator and running Windows 7. its not write protected as far as i can see. what am i doing wrong?, or am i being unbelievably stupid?

right click the file and goto properties and make sure that read only flag is not ticked.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
