Alright, I admit I can be slow on the uptake. I tried the glitch, but it doesn't seem to work. I've removed the patch and set the date ahead. When I log in I see a small increase, but it doesn't seem like much. I don't own a lot of property, The weapons, bar and general store in the invested Westcliff, and I get like 1380 every five minutes.
I logged out, logged out of xbox live, changed the date ahead one year, logged back in and continued. I was playing the game already before trying this, but I don't know if that matters.
I also would like to know if anyone found the golden touch augment and where.

Or if it's because I'm logged into xbox live during gameplay and it auto sets the clock, then I get it. I guess this means you have to play offline....remember when cheating was fun?

as I said before the maximum you can get is 100 payments with or without the patch the exploit works both ways. meaning at most you will only ever get 100 times your normal rent(8 hours).

you can buy the golden touch from the gypsy trader in the main market centre (cant remember name but its the first town you go to)

I saw your last post, I wasn't getting 100 times the rent. 1380 was the normal rent I get. Everytime I log out, the date is auto reset. I was asking if you need to play offline.

yep if your conected to the net is syncs up with xbox live for the time.

Alright, I did that but it won't allow me to save or continue without signing in to xbox live. When I sign back in, it syncs up w/xbox live and readjusts the clock. I tried starting a new game, but it won't allow save points without xbox live.
I tried using my existing character. I saved, signed out, changed the time, signed back into the game to continue and nothing.
I know this is annoying, but it's really p*ssing me off because I know that I'm just missing some stupid step. Can you help?
