Thread of the Year - Ryan's CHUUL Thread

Need I say why, ok I will anyways. This is such a visited thread, with so much voting and other pandemonium. But it really deserves to win because Ryan has been a hard worker to keep it up and running, not excluding the members who helped him as well.

Eh, no flaming in this post, potato. Just answering his stuff.

A: They were all maintained by one person
True, but running a big topic like this takes help. I'm pretty sure someone with a schedule as packed as mine would, that is.

B:It hasn't been updated in weeks (like I said I know it cant be helped but it is stated "the thread manager does an exquisite job of keeping his thread in tip-top shape." )
Precisely. Nobody would nominate a voting topic. I mean come on. They all last 24 hours. The only topic I can really "manage" is the discussion topic, where all the scheduling, conversation, etc take place (pretty much CHUUL itself is packed into this topic), and that is what is being nominated.

C:Who would take the credit for it?
Obviously I would. The other users volunteered because they knew I needed help. Not to say what they're doing is for nothing.

And now that I think about it, perhaps "bashing" was an overstatement. I do apologise for that, Elite. It's probably, at most, criticism, which is nothing to get rialed up for.

I have only voted for youngblood so far. Here are the other three.

Reason: He always posts things that make me laugh. It allows my day to be a little better after reading them.

Lamille's Pokemon Emerald Quiz for thread of the year.
Reason: No spamming, kept in control by Lamille or other users when Lamille is not there, fun and entertaining.

CHU user of the year: dstates
Reason: I haven't seen him post much but when he does, it always seems to be helpful towards the topic posted on.

This guy's blog are hilarious, and never fail to make me laugh. It's almost always the funniest thing I read all day.

I am not on the bandwagon here he has been won of my favorited users since his debut. He speaks well and argues his points in a civil and intellegent manner (most of the time but we all have slips eh?) He doesnt revive months-years old posts for no reason (looks at Azarku117 and a few others) and doenst show signs of noobish as most of the new people (yup me too) do when they first joined.

If there is a second place award it should go to Dancer who was barely edged out

Blog of the year: I read a lot but none have jumped out as best so i have no vote here

user of the year: Latiosmaster47. He is polite and civil, he gets his points across without resorting to anger, I dont think i have aver seen him angry. He is knowledgeable and helpfull, he has answered a ton of my noobish questions more than anybody else (of which there are a few) and is always quick to help out when its needed. He has a good sense of humor and is really quick to throw a link to something funny that pertains to the topic. He is always around I think he is likely the most active member i have seen here.
