I don't use breaks much in drifts. I just build speed and then turn the steering sharp and hold it while making the turn. Keep the wheels turned while going around the corner and hold even when you've made the corner. The car should continue to slide sideways. When the car starts coming out of the drift release the steering to allow the car to realign, and when the next corner comes up,repeat the process. Keep in mind, its YOU,not heavy speed, and not the car, that makes perfect drifts. In drifting you have to be in control at all times. You have to take control and call the shots. If you aren't racking up the points, don't blame the car,the track,or whatever. Success or failure all depends on YOU.

i dominated aki kamura in a toyota corolla that's impresive the rx7 was too fast and so is the silvia, i tuned the corolla's suspension so the ride height was low and the steering was 3/4 of the way UP the bar (closer to stiff) to give quicker steering also the key to drifting is to lock you drift angle by steering in the opposite direction and sometimes letting go of the steering altogether to allow your cars angle to increase and then locking it in again to hold the angle. in the corolla, speed was the key to gettin the car to make the corner.
