Ok ok i found this line up when i first got the game.. to be the godliest you will need a lugia though from silver version so it knows aero blast.

line up:
1. lvl 75+ lugia with moves
psychic
hydro pump
fly
aero blast
holding: left overs or bright powder

2. lvl 75+ typhlosion
flamethrower
fireblast
thunder punch
smoke screen
holding: charcoal or bright powder or leftovers

3. lvl 75+ dragonite
hyper beam
dragon breath (better then dragon rage because that move can only inflict 40 damage maximum)
blizzard
thunder
holding: dragon tooth

4. lvl 75+ umbreon
psychic
shadow ball
moonlight
faint attack
holding: black glasses

5. lvl 75+ butterfree
psybeam
sleep powder
gust
solar beam
holding: bright powder or left overs

6. lvl 75+ raichu (not pikachu because its not strong enough)
zap cannon
thunder
thunderbolt
rainy day
holding: magnet

now my reasoning.. lugia is water,flying and psychic so it pretty much has an advantage over all except electric pokemon.

typhlosion because it is a extremely strong fire pokemon that's only disadvantage really is rock/ground.

dragonite.. well this doesn't really need an explanation since it is one of the most deadly pokemon in the game.

umbreon.. umbreon since it is a dark pokemon and its stronger then any ghost pokemon so really its obiviously best dark pokemon to choose.

butterfree.. this pokemon as well as being psychic is also a flying/bug type so it can use flying moves to beat bug/grass pokemon and psychic to beat most other types and being bug its fast, easy to level, easy to get, and it also has sleep powder

finally raichu.. now this pokemon used correctly is probably in my opinion easily in the top 5 most deadly pokemon of the game..
also with the rainy day thing.. people think its silly but! it makes thunder about 75% more accurate
zap cannon.. over thunder wave because it cause's damage aswell as paralysis.
thunder bolt because it has alot of pp, does a huge amount of damage and is very very accurate.
now why use raichu instead of pikachu.. raichu has higher attack, defense, special attack, special defense and health and also his moves do more damage but his speed drops.
this is due to raichu being sooooooooooooo overly charged with electricity that he has to sacrifice speed for damage. now raichu is still a very very fast pokemon that even against the strongest pikachu.. will whoop his tush off.

thats my number one set up. i have only lost 4 battles with that ever and that was to someone who used full revives every time his articuno died.
choose for yourself but this setup is honestly godly!!

also to the jackass who said easy win game dont choose chikorita.. well that pokemon isn't for beginners.. only the top players should start with it because that pokemon takes alot of stratergy to win the game with.

That is pretty darn good actually, nice one
Theres only one thing I'd change if that was my team.
I'd teach Typhlosion dig instead of Fire Blast, OR I'd teach it to Raichu and replace Zap Cannon. This gives you a bit of an edge over rock types.
