    Atheist/Agnostic here.

I'm leaving this open as long as there is zero flaming. If I see anything you will be put on the "bad list". I mean it.

    How can you be both?

Atheists don't believe in God while Agnostics believe that there is a God but upon creation, he has no further hand in our affairs.

I'm thinking that was an oxymoran.

    But yeah, no flaming intented.

What I mean is that I don't believe in God as it stands but that I'm ready to be convinced.

Nah, I'm reading the Bible though, I'll tell you if I find something interesting.

All I've learnt so far is that to sell your daughter into slavery is morally acceptable.

A lot of the Bible is full of metaphors. God didn't want Abraham to literally sacrifice his son, God stopped him because it was a test. What you read was most likely a test.

I would suggest to consult the Catechism of the Catholic Church for any questions you have in addition to your study. [url]www.christusrex.org/www1/CDHN/ccc.html'>Link

I'm good thanks, let's stop spamming now and move on.

In any case, if you're reading the Bible it's a lot more fun to read on your own interpretation of things. Not other people's opinions. If you'd like to respond to me darkish, send a PM.

i believe in god 100%. plus evalution never made sense to me. i mean if monkeys evalutionized into humans, why aren't they still turning into humans today? also in the bible there are many prophecys that are about wars and all the wars that we had in the past, and they go hand in hand with what the bible says. so if those things r true, than i can easily believe that the bible isnt just some book that was written by men, but it is a book inspired of god and all the things in there are true, including creation. plus, it makes perfect sense. and when it comes to evalution, there is always the question, how? and that leads to more questions.
