With nothing but time on my hands right now I've decided to finally buckle down and buy a 360...within the next week or so for sure.

So I now know the major differences between the two systems released...I'm leaning towards the Core as it's cheaper and I really have no need of all the XboxLive stuff...Microsoft says that 'if you want' you can upgrade the Core (by buying the add-ons) to the full Xbox experience, all I really want is the hardrive piece so I can play my old Xbox games on the new system and have more memory and store music on...but what I need to know from you guys is (seeing as you own one)...can it really be upgraded to the full 360 experience, or is it not so...thanks again, Jackal

Oh and how much memory would their be without the hardrive add-on at first, is their enough to save normal game time?

Don't get the core, it's a rip off. You are going to need a hard drive to save and a hard drive is exactly if not more $100. So with premium you're also getting a lot of "free" stuff.

So you'll need a hardrive in order to save gametime???...just wanna clarify... 🤔

Yes, unless you get a memory card which is also a rip off. Half the price of the hardrive, yet it's able to hold way less than the harddrive. You need a harddrive to play backwards compatible games aswell.

Alright, thanks guys...I'll have to scrap together a bit more cash but I think I'll be able to swing the 360 Pro...really surprised Microsoft would leave all those things out of the Core system...

So the Cores 399$ and the Pros 499$???...Just to clarify again 🤔
