i think this is a great idea but does becoming an author affect your star count and/or rank

I! don't agree with the colour coding... this rank is a system made to determine, and acknowledge, those who post alot... Not authors, authors already have privelleges, as do unl. members... so making a colour coding to show that an author has made so many posts, and a normal member has made so many... would just be stupid...

It's just supposed to be something to give CHU a little more kick if you know what I mean.

The color coding is not to determine those who made a lot of posts, just to seperate the members from the authors and so on...

actually its not to seperate...just simply organize and for easy identification of the user status/membership...

At some point guys you just have too many things going on. A star count for posts, a star count for author rating, a color coded star count for user status, different color coding for mods/founders... it becomes too confusing. When you have to put some sort of key at the bottom of every page to tell people what all the different stars and colors mean then you've overdone it.

We're keeping it the way it is for now. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

the other thing i was going to say is... Under your little picture, it says... Author or... Member or... Moderator! or... Unl. Member... or... Veteran? and that's all i can think of:s but them main point is that there is already a system in place to tell the difference between them all...
