That's why we have user statuses such as Veteran, Cheatmaster, etc. People can see your rank (post count) plus your status on each post. 3-star + MEMBER is not as high as 3-star + AUTHOR, etc. You think it would be better with NO STATUSES, just 10 different colored stars that no one knew which was higher than the next?

it just means that the guy with 1000 posts/3 months is much more active than the guy who makes 1000 posts/year...

the star is just simply an additional parapharnalia for the member...since the total number of that member's post can also be seen,everytime that member posts a message...its very visible if youl look around...

the "age" doesn't really much a matter...what matters is the activeness and manner of being a member of CHU...

Although some don't notice, veterans get more respect. And if the stars for postage are shown in the forum, why not put the stars for the author rating too? I always said 'do a job 100% complete'

I think we've covered this enough. No more changes are being made at this time.
