As you can see, we have added a new feature to the message board: rank images.

These images go from 1 star to 5 stars and are based on your post count, except for moderators and founders which get special images so they can easily be identified in a thread.

Here's the breakdown of how the ranks work:

1 = Less than 100 posts
1.5 = 100+ posts
2 = 500+ posts
2.5 = 1000+ posts
3 = 2000+ posts
3.5 = 4000+ posts
4 = 8000+ posts
4.5 = 10000+ posts
5 = 20000+ posts

In Internet Explorer, you can also hold your mouse over the "star bar" and it will tell you the current rank and how many posts are needed for the next rank.

We did this so that those people that are active on the boards can be rewarded and identified beyond their user status. This does NOT mean that you should start spamming up the boards to try and reach the next rank. Mods will be on full alert for this kind of behavior.

We may make some slight changes to how this works and/or tweak the statuses around a bit. So, love it or hate it, let us know how you feel... but be kind

Well, I personally think that this whole idea is pointless unless it's purpose is to show one's dedication and effort put into CHU as a member.

This may cause some spammage, why must you make us work Pwizard?

No effence but I think this was a waist I mean now their is gonna be spam I think that their should be this exact thing expet with how you write your posts and stuff like that not a ranking on how mutch posts you have sorry pwiz but im just telling the truth(no hard fellings)
