As u all know there are post's that have things about the MC being all kinds of things but the chief is actuly machine because on the level Gravemind if u listen to the cutscene u will hear gravemind say "This one is all MACHINE and has his mind contempt" so that tells u that hes machine

he's not a machine he's a cyborg

he is human too just partly though

lol, ummm...i think Gravemind was talking about Cortana or someone because MC is a biocemecly aultered human being, and yes now more Cyborg than anything but he's not all Machine that much i can garauntee

Well your all wrong th truth really is that the master cheif is spartan 117 (formally John) he was kidnapped by a scientist called Dr halsey when he was six dr halsey he was then trained with a group of over 100 other children until the age of 14 when they were augmented (this mans that they were genetically altered) they had there bones coated with titanium there reflexes quickened and there agility and speed were increased by far they were then given the mojlnir 5 armour and then halo 1 started. the story behind cortana on the other hand is that Dr halsey created her as her personal assisntant but she was a 'smart' AI as apposed to a dumb AI this means that she had a life of about 7 years until she literally thought so much that she shutsdown any way dr halsey moddeled cortana on herself and gave her the best hacking software and encryption software in the UNSC (United Nations Space Corps). on the pillar of autumn at the start of halo one cortana says did u sleep well because she put the MC into cryogenic containment for the slipstream jump she then unfroze him and asked how he slept i think youll find all this information correct if not please rectify me thanks

i thought there bones were REPLACED with titanium ones, but if they were just coted with titanium, thats fine too.

they haven't got any freakin titanium in them fer gods sake!!!

read the fall of reach. they get their genes enhanced so their bones are stronger. the MJOLNIR suits make them look like cyborgs, but they are bioengineered humans. this same thread was posted several times about this time last year. MC is john the spartan. get over it

it may have not been titanium but the did get something grafted onto their bones to make them nearly indestructable. I think it was Carbide.
