Hi,
Really thank you for the tool, purchased it right away and got it working for couple games I play.
I do have one game that doesn't work no matter what options I have tried.
Horizon Chase Turbo crashes as soon as the Aurora is activating trainer. I have tried different Proton, game/desktop mode, window mode to no available. The trainer works no issue on windows steam.
Couldn't find anyone else that has this issue. Any ideas? Thanks! 😀
Sorry I didn't reply sooner.
If you want to play this with a trainer you will need to use Steam Tinker Launch and download the Standalone trainer. 3 out of the 4 options work on it. The one that doesn't is the "no collision" option.
Hi, so I just got the Aurora thing for the Steam Deck and downloaded it. When I boot it up, it says to go into the Game Properties in Steam and select SDT. However, when I go into a game, for example, Trails of Cold Steel IV, when I go to compatibility, I don't see SDT. I see Aurora Launch, GE-Proton9-5, Steam Tinker Launch, and then various Proton launchers. Which am I supposed to use? I would appreciate any help.
Some more context of what I'm doing. I went into the properties and clicked Aurora Launch. I am in Developer mode on the Deck. The Aurora cheats popped up when I was in Desktop mode on the Deck, but not the game. When I was in Big Picture mode, the Aurora cheats popped up but were smushed so I couldn't activate anything, and the game also did not run. Any suggestions?

0x90 pretty much summed it up. I recommend playing in desktop mode with every first launch of the game. If the game doesn't show up but the tool does close the game and open Aurora in the desktop screen and follow the instructions that 0x90 posted.
What proton version to run depends on the game. Some games you can use new protons or the latest, some might require you to use an old one, it all depends so use what you have and get new ones as the need arises.
Your cheat screen getting smushed is based on the resolution of the game. So first of all make sure every game you play is in Windowed or borderless windowed. Second go into the aurora app click on your profile > settings > appearance > check maximize window on start. You might need to try to run a different game if you can't access the settings.

How do I figure out what proton to use? Is there a tool I can use or something to search that would help?
