Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

I played around a bit with Aurora and also on a fresh copy, but i cannot reproduce the issue.

Works fine for me on all the games I have installed. can't get it to not detect anything. note i am on windows 11 22h2

I just tested 1.5.6 with the Dying Light 2 Trainer and I didn't find any issues with the functionality of it myself. (Health, Immunity, & Stamina)

Is it possible your security software is getting in the way of Aurora?
I know with some of the newer security features some VPN's have started testing Local Machine Security software utilities. But the error sounds more like you didn't get all the files downloaded for the trainer or Aurora is just getting flagged by a security software of some sorts.

We have had a few reports of issues with a couple of VPNs. Would be interested to know if those users having issues are on VPN or not.

No antivirus besides Windows defender and Aurora is already an exception.

I also do not use a VPN.

I am testing something right now. I went home real quick on my lunch break and just opened both Steam and Aurora. Aurora is opened to the Raft trainer. I'll be getting home soon to see if maybe there is a time component with this issue.

Update: I got home from work a little while ago and Loaded up Raft. Aurora saw it and even said "Game Found." I closed it and opened DL2 and Aurora said "Game Not Running." It seems to be on the second trainer that Aurora is having the issue. I'll reinstall Aurora and see if my issue gets resolved.

Same here.

It's done it with Witcher 3 trainer (V4 Hotfix patch GOG/Steam), Ark:SE (Steam/Epic) & Subnautica (Dec22 patch - Steam/Epic). Each time it's either a case of just pressing F1 to activate until it does, or restarting the trainer (close running trainer and restarting). Sometimes it has required closing Aurora completely and restarting the programme.

(Edit after seeing the VPN info - no VPN here, and only Windows Defender/ Security installed)

ok then ..... I can only assume at this point, but are yall launching the latest Version of the trainer through Aurora? I know when you go to flag the trainer for your favorites it asks

Always get the latest trainer when opening the favorite? ('No' means you'll always get THIS specific trainer version)

I will give Witcher 3 a try again, but last time I checked there wasn't any issues the last time I tried the Aurora with Witcher 3

Edit: Tried Witcher 3 .... Trainer hook for Witcher 3 can see the game when it launches but my current version of the game isn't stable so I can't test the full trainer do to the game crashing to desktop before loading the main menu.

I would like to rule something out, so those having issues, please download this version of 1.5.6 and report back if it changes anything. Link will be pulled after multiple people have downloaded it.
