Any chance of a few update for Steam Deck users that might be useful?
- Could you add the ability to have it auto-login if your details are saved? Would save one additional step that might trip up some games which have their own launchers.
- Could HW Acceleration be disabled by default? If not in the official version for windows then perhaps in a 'Steam Deck' version? Same for the process watcher setting. Would make this super easy for people (no need for the Wine or Aurora setup step).
Out of interest why does the setup need to be done for each game? It's like each game gets its own saved version of Aurora it needs to setup, save the trainer ect. Just wondering.
There is no "Aurora for Steam Deck". Users found a way to make the existing app work and so we combined their tips and tricks and made an instructional video. As of RIGHT NOW, there are no plans to add Steam Deck related options or features into Aurora. Perhaps down the line.
Could a code branch not be made for Steam Deck (if your using some kind of git for the code base, pretty much everyone does)?
It looks like it wouldn't need any big changes to the code, just some options disabled/changed by default. It sounds like it could therefore be easily be kept in step with the latest code/changes since there would be no real 'dev' on it.
Seems like it would be a nice and easy way to shout 'We support the Steam Deck' to the community even more by making the slightly complicated workaround much simpler.
Just a thought.
if you want to install windows on the steam deck then Aurora is "supported". You will have a lot of issues with windows though. The CH trainers are made for Windows and not linux
When you open tinker launcher. Send the path to the standalone trainer instead of Aurora. Works for me.
Thank you so much, finally i figure it out🍻

Hi, how did you get this to work for standalone trainers, I am trying to get this to work for MAD MAX, when i replace aurora with the standalone trainers and follow all the steps accordingly, The trainer launches but it does not find the game and i am unable to switch between trainer and game.
Thanks for the tutorial. For all the games I have tried, they are working fine.
Also, where does Aurora save its config file (if there is one) after changing its settings? Doesn't seem to be in the same folder as we have to repeat the process for every game?
I came here to look for a similar answer.
I set up Aurora on one game, favourited all the trainers I planned to use only to realise that the config is only stored per game and not system-wide.
While it's not the worst thing in the world, it is a little bit of a pain to have to login and setup for each game.
So yeah, is there a place the config is stored or way to set aurora up system wide?
Many thanks.
