Hey all, first off - love your work. I've experienced no problem except for the search function being unavailable for some reason.
When I click on any trainers on the sidebar, I get an alert indicating search is unavailable. While also going to the Trainers tab on the top navbar, the UI loads but no search results show up regardless of platform or keywords entered.
(I've attached a .zip containing quick screengrabs of the issue occurring).
I use ESET Smart Security Premium 15.2.11.0, which I've disabled as part of the troubleshooting, and over a few new version releases of Aurora, haven't had much luck with searching.
As mentioned, everything else works fine, so it's more of a minor inconvenience, but I would like to be able to search pre-emptively for trainers instead of having to launch each individual game to see if there is one available.
Any help or direction on what to troubleshoot next would be appreciated, thank you.

Aurora failed to fetch the game list. From the log:
Failed to retrieve list of games, error: InternalServerError
But there are also tons of:
Failed to contact CH server, exception: No such host is known Failed on latest trainer by ID, error: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions
What DNS provider are you using? Can you switch to Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 ?

I'm currently utilizing primary DNS 8.8.8.8 and secondary as 8.8.4.4 Dropped to my default provider for a little prior to responding but still received the same entry:
"Failed to retrieve list of games, error: InternalServerError"
Not really receiving anything extra entries beyond this one in the log file and per-usual Standalone Trainer enumeration prompts.

It sounds to me like something on your PC is blocking your connection. AV/firewall/security/privacy/etc. Try a VPN and see what results you get.

Set up NordVPN, connected to US location (instead of Sydney, Australia). Latest two entries in Log file when attempting to access anything via the Top Downloads right-hand sidebar:
8:03 PM: Failed to retrieve list of games, error: InternalServerError 8:09 PM: Failed on latest trainer by ID, error: No such host is known. (www.cheathappensnext.com:443)
Figured while on the VPN I'd check if I could at least communicate to the hostname/port that Aurora is spitting errors out for:
Comes up with TcpTestSucceeded: True from the same device, with no change in Log file results.
It's a little weird and an inconvenience, but it's not Aurora client-breaking. Trainers work and identify based on the game launched while the client is open; just the Top Downloads & Trainers search function isn't working.
I'm happy to strip away my AV/Firewall setup to run off a clean slate and work out what's happening, so I'll clear away any security-related applications and see what the deal is from my end.
