    OP,
This is their way of saying that they can cater to popular and current mega release games and not have to deal with thousands of old games. It's less work for CH, and gamers are willing to pay to keep a handful of trainers updated for the current popular games. It's just smart business on their part.

@eltoro200, I hate to see CH shifting that direction also. I would suggest checking the web for possible other trainers if you play older games.

You said it yourself: Thousands of old trainers. These trainers STILL work (if not, fill out an update report and it ifs correct it gets updated to Aurora). There is no reason for us to work on thousands of old trainers porting them to Aurora when they are only downloaded by a few people.

So you are correct it is less work for us. Considering our daily work load we have to put priorities. A trainer maker can either spend time on updating old trainers or making new trainers. He cannot do both in the same time. If a trainer is such old that it requires us to completely rewrite it from SCRATCH, then we only do that if its absolutely necessary. Rewriting such a trainer means we actually have to reinstall the game, converting all of these options so they fit into our current trainer template. This is about 10-60 minutes per trainer. Let's take 30 minutes that means:

30 * ~5,000 = 15,000 Minutes = 250 hours. Assuming a classic 8 hours work day thats around 30 days. Let's say 1 month. So we have to pause ALL work for 1 month only converting 5,000 of our trainers (PWizard can tell you how many exactly we have) to Aurora. Trainers which still work fine.

I cannot speak for every single of our customers but I don't think they would appreciate if we waste our time this way and they get no updates and no new games etc. Instead they rely on us that we perfectly spend the limited time we have. This doesn't always work for everyone because everyone has different priorities and different perspectives but for most I feel they're understanding us.

If we or I cannot convince you about the new system and if we or I cannot make it understandable why standalone trainers are handled like this right now I feel sorry, but I think I've done my best.

I think I speak for the majority of CH members when I say that we know you put in a lot of work.
And on a personal level, I appreciate this. It is why I backed the project and changed my pledge at a later moment to the highest possible, when I had the funds to do so.

So from my end, thank you, again, for all the work you all put in. Thank you for catering to our needs and thank you for offering a streamlined experience that goes beyond the trainer manager.
Thank you for putting in the extra work to make sure that older game trainers will also be usable through Aurora.

No, thank you @pulsonic for actually having our back on this. We hope that the majority of members feel the same way as yourself on this matter.
