Thank you so much, feeling overwhelming gratitude because my game works the way I want it to sounds silly I know, but it's a huge deal to me.

When using the trainer options for changing gold and editing character stats, I save the game for changes to take place. On attempting to reload said save, the game chooses to go back to the main menu on every load instead of the saved scenario. Please look into this.

Update: Changing the gold value is what breaks the save and prevents it from loading.

Might help if you attached your save for them to look at. Message trainer maker when it is attached.

Still the same error.

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

Are you using ANY mods? They break the trainer.

No, absolutely no mods. I'm playing a clean version of Steam.
This error constantly appears when activated from the very first version of the trainer.
I did all the cleaning of the folders specified in the post above several times, every time the current version of the trainer for the game came out. But there were no changes, the same error.
Honestly, I've already lost hope that the trainer will ever work.

Try on a new fresh game, it may be your save data is already altered from previous use. Advised to turn off any cloud saves and use your PC's local saves only.
