Does it update itself or just trainers?

Both.

Fair enough, was just providing a hotfix that worked for me. But the update apparently fixed the issue in general. It installed the update and is working just fine for me.

Also, thanks again to the devs that made and are working on the new trainer manager. It's such a nice upgrade over the old one. That was honestly my one and only complaint about CH, was the trainer manager being built around old tech (mainly using IE rendering engine). Great to have a Webview 2 (chromium) based one.

I use firefox as my web browser.

When i start up TM2 it gets stuck at "Preparing Chromium" and then this crash report after a while.

Not sure why but when I run the "checking for trainer updates" button (the one below where you can search through your downloaded trainers) it's saying they are all up to date, yet I know for sure my trainer for Oddworld Soulstorm is not.

When I launch that trainer, it fails to hook to the game and the trainer itself tells me there is a new version available when I launch it. Any reason the check for updates function of the trainer manager wouldn't catch this?

I've done a brand new clean "install" of the trainer manager. Same thing. If there are any log files or whatever I can submit that would help troubleshoot let me know.

Close TM, delete the trainers.json and restart it for a proper refresh. See if that helps

Like I said I did try a fully clean re-"install" of TM (deleted the TM folder, downloaded a new copy, told it where my trainers are etc. All my trainers showed up but checking for updates it still didn't catch that the Oddworld Soulstorm trainer was not up to date.

I went ahead and just deleted my trainers folder and created a new one (only had like 6 trainers downloaded anyways).

But I also can't seem to get the feature where you can have TM install trainers for games installed on your system. I tested this by clicking the steam icon, and checking the box for Terraria. It will make Terraria appear under "not installed" but it never downloads and installs the trainer for me. Correct me if I'm wrong but watching the video about the new TM it's supposed to be able to download the trainer for me right? Like no extracting and copying it to where I keep my trainers?

Also a feature request / question. Is it possible to have the new TM be told where to download trainers when I want to install a new one? They just go to my downloads folder, then I extract and copy them to where I keep my trainers. Unless I'm missing something I can't find a way to get TM 2.0 to update the list of trainers and have to re start it to get the trainer I just downloaded to appear. Even going into settings and doing "Verify Trainer List" won't make a newly downloaded trainer appear.
