yes sir same for me..it said world level 2 on character select screen but game is only at 00..so i revalidated the files with steam and it replaced the file that was altered and i can select world tier again just cant use trainer..

Yeah, same issue. The only thing that you can do is just alter your resources... other than that world tier does not work. Even changing it from the trainer, does not work.

I've done it a couple of times (but I also deactivate the selected trainer options first). Also they're having server crash time again 💩 so that could be your problem. It's probably going to be like this for a couple of weeks until the game servers have gotten all the issues ironed out.
