I have all the DLC activated. I have gone into the game and it looks like I have it all activated. Unless I am missing something major which I probably am.
I am having the same issue
Same. I have all DLC, it says it sees the game, but when I try to activate it says Failed. The debug message says: "Gamecore_XP2_FinalRelease.dll" does not exist! No idea if this is supposed to be a file that came with the trainer, or a file from Civ VI, and where that file is supposed to be located, and no idea how to fix this problem.
I have Windows 11 and Direct X 12 (selected at the launcher), if that makes any difference. I have the feeling the trainer is trying to hook to a file that no longer exists.

Hi d0r0mano.
This debug comes up either when you have not enabled the DLC that is required or you trying to active the trainer somewhere it isn't supposed to.
I just tried the trainer, on win 10, and it worked fine for me.
You need to double check you have gathering storm activated and only active the trainer while you in-game where you see you units.
I feel dumb. Apparently the trainer doesn't work with the Tutorial; it works just fine if I'm playing a regular game. *sigh* Sorry about that!

No worries. Actually wasn't aware of this myself, but now I know for future.
I have big problems with Civilization 6. I have started with the normal game and I have now also bought "Gathering Storm".
In Autora I can see the version 1.10.12.42 (Steam) but my version is now 1.0.12.46.
So I don't know if it's my new version of the game.
Here are 2 screenshots (game and error Aurora).
Is pls anybody able to help me?
Or do I have to request an update for Civ6?
I hope Admins are able to see my attached files. If not, pls tell me

Hi wernho.
I don't see the second picture, but I presume it's the normal debug saying something related to "GameCore_XP2_FinalRelease.dll"
If you read the readme that follows the trainer is has a specific way to confirm that gathering storm is active and also remember you have to activate it in-game when you can move units. NOT at main menu.
Trainer was tested today and was found working, and the debug you describe comes from either missing DLC, not activated DLC or starting the trainer wrong place.
Hopefully that helps
