(As an aside; given the (I assume?) popularity of the service, it would be nice to see Game Pass games treated like first class citizens when it comes to Trainers. Often feels like the Game Pass version is an afterthought, and given the low cost of entry to a stack of games, this feels surprising to me.)
IMO, CH treats all platforms equally. Even steam versions have to be requested first and funded, it's not a given just because a game is on steam. There are games that were initially epic exclusive but subsequently made their way to steam. Those required platform requests as well(if the existing epic one doesn't work on it) even though steam is the larger platform.
The price of entry on game pass may be cheap but the number of hours in a day is still limited. Each game on game pass is potentially hours of work added on. Add in having to update each version separately and it starts spiralling.
Suffice to say, if the demand is there for a particular platform version of a game, then it will be funded quickly and eventually made. That's the most democratic way and an economical use of the staff time.

What?
We bought the game initially on steam. The trainer is for steam.
You will have to request platform on gamepass. Not to mention it may not even be possible on gamepass due to the way the game works and the way windows walls off it's files for gamepass and windows store apps.
We don't automatically make 6 trainers every time for every platform.
best,
Cal
Hi Cal, I think you misunderstood what I was saying or are you directing that reply to the other poster?.
The other poster felt like gamepass users were being treated like "second class citizens". I was just providing a comparison to show that even steam version of games have to go through the process of being requested and funded, ie not automatic. So it's fair that gamepass versions have to be requested as well, price of gamepass notwithstanding.
Thanks for the reminder about gamepass's technical difficulties, forgot about that.

Im getting the message:
09:45:12: Successfully attached to CivilizationVI
09:45:12: Capture Unit Base Address, Script error in line 6: The module name 'GameCore_XP2_FinalRelease.dll' does not exist!
And my civ is running on the latest patch and Gathering the Storm DLC on Steam.

That message means that either you have not enabled Gathering the Storm or that you tried to activate the trainer wrong place. Trainer needs to be activated in-game when you can move around stuff, not main menu.
I have tried to activate the game on the main menu in the game and while the game is playing, I have all of the DLC activated but when I type F1 it says "failed". What am I doing wrong?
you read the readme? do you have the Gathering Storm DLC enabled?
I have all the DLC activated. I have gone into the game and it looks like I have it all activated. Unless I am missing something major which I probably am.
I am having the same issue
