"NOTE

This trainer is for Civilization VI with the Gathering Storm Expansion ONLY! It will not work unless you own the Civilization VI Gathering Storm expansion and have it ENABLED in the "Additional Content" menu at the main menu. We NO LONGER support any other versions or expansions of the game, ONLY Civilization VI Gathering Storm will be supported from now on. This also means that if you only own vanilla Civilization VI with no expansions or only own the Rise and Fall expansion, this trainer will not work for you! You MUST own the Civilization VI Gathering Storm expansion and have it enabled!

This game dynamically loads and unloads and reloads the game .dll while you play, especially if you restart, or are loading or starting a new game. Please note that this means many options will no longer work and will need to be turned off and then turned back on, since the game is reloading the addresses in a new .dll. The best way to use this trainer is to wait until you start your game and are able to move units and click on cities BEFORE you activate the trainer. It's also best to close the trainer and restart the trainer if you restart the game, load a save, or do anything to start a new game or load a new game."

Can I use an older trainer if I don't buy the DLC?

Snag here is if the game version is different from the older trainer without dlc you won't get any trainer updates. Because of how they worked in the dlc with the game. Plus the trainer might not work. To get the best gaurentee of it working is game + all dlc.

i have read the "trainer READ ME instructions", i have done everything it says and the trainer will work to a point.
i get IN game (where i can bulid and move units around )and start the trainer. i start to use the NumPad 1- 7 keys and i can only use 3 before the Game will crash. Not the trainer. it dosen't matter what NumPad combo i use, its all the same. the game will crash.
And the editor dosen't seem to work at all.

Do you own the game on steam and have the gathering storm DLC enabled?
also what game mode are you trying to play? i just tried the trainer myself and it works fine.

yes, i own the game and all the DLC's on steam. yes, just like the READ ME instructions said, it is enabled. and is there mods that are down loaded with the game ?? cuz i haven't down loaded any mods.

No, no mods. make sure you play the campaign gamemode, and don't activate the trainer untill you are ingame where you can move units around.
