I had some trouble figuring out this as well. Here's the trick: while option is active, don't open the research window through the shortcut at the bottom of the screen. You have to click on the actual building that is currently researching something. As soon as you click on it, research will be finished instantly.

I can't seem to get the trainer running.

For some reason it seems convinced the game is already running before I even start the actual game. When I run the game and press F1 it says there is likely cheat software preventing it from working.

On the last version (21/01/2020) it activated but none of the options worked.

I've disabled my protections and run as administrator as well as deleted the trainer specific and global settings but the same thing still happens.

Help! I suck too much to play this game without a trainer!

Make sure you are downloading the right version for your game. We have separate Steam and Game Pass trainers.

Already checked and double checked and I have the steam version for the correct game release version also.

Try it again from scratch, doing each and every line of the following:

Delete trainer and all the files in:

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and make sure
trainer is in a folder excluded from virus scans or even add an exception right to the trainer.exe file itself.

Empty quarantine folder if needed.

Add an exclusion for:

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

Make sure Numlock is ON and Run the trainer As Admin, read the trainer instructions and try again.

I'm experiencing some graphical problems with this last version (v1.5.0 steam+gog).
I attached a .7z file with images inside.

I have a MSI GS73VR-7RF, Core i7 7700HQ, 16gb DDR4 RAM, on a SSD, with a GTX1060 with all the latest drivers on a Windows 10 1909 x64 (fully updated). All my Visual C++ redistributables, NET Framework, NET Core and DirectX are installed to the latest versions.

I believe another trainer that uses this same interface is the one on They Are Billions and that one works perfectly fine on my system.

Thankyou this has fixed my issues and my trainer is now working correctly.

That's great, I'm really glad to hear that.

One of our Mods - Cypher369 - put together most of these instructions in one checklist and it has helped countless people with their trainer issues.

Any idea which line corrected the problem?
