have gotten errors about fc_m64.dll, when i close the i get invalid memory access #3913
and now the trainer just hangs

cpu: i7 7920x
ram: 32gb
gpu: gtx1080
windows 10
avg

So the fc_m64.dll errors stopped???
The trainer did or did not work before closing the game???

Need to be more specific please.

Or... we could work at this a little less and just wait for a trainer that works.

My steam is installed on my secondary drive under d:steam,steamapps,common,FarCry5 and it still can't find it.

There is some other issue at work here.

I have tried this, I have the uplay version and the uplay window for Farcry 5, where you can click play opens up and then I get the message trainer cannot find game. The install dir is G:\ubi\Far Cry 5

since nothing ever made by Ubisoft to my knowledge had a path starting with driveletterhere:\ubi, I'll assume its one you created. Is this on a portable external usb drive? If so strike one right there.

No, it isn't an external drive, just a dir I created on an internal one. My guess is, as at the window from uplay, when the trainer quits, you can click play for Farcry5, but the you still have to choose between Far Cry 5 and FarCRy Arcade Editor.... perhaps that is what is confusing the trainer?

I have found a fix that has worked for me every time and that is if you have steam and uplay version shut both down completely then find your trainer right click it and select run as administrator the click F1 and it will launch steam and uplay clients both then wait a couple seconds and it will activate has worked for me every time. I have done this 5 times in a row and it has worked every single time

Ok i was one of the folks who kept getting the trainer not found when starting the game. I was finally able to get it to work with v2. here is what I did.

make sure all your exe files are set up to run as admin. Steam, Uplay, trainer, fc5 exe, and eaclauncher exe.

second if you have windows defender make sure you add the trainer as an exemption and make sure to turn defender off.

lastly i have mulit monitors so having uplay, steam, and trainer open on the same default monitor then use F2 to locate the fc5 folder in the steamapps, common, fc5. then hit f1.

my game then finally started and worked. maybe the issue was folks had the multi monitors like me and kept moving the trainer and steam windows over, not sure but having them all in default monitor worked. Thanks Caliber, pwizard, and others for a great trainer.
