I think I've tried everything, even uninstalling the trainer and restarting my PC but the trainer still doesn't work for me. Please help.
Some additional information about 'still doesn't work' is much appreciated.
What issues do you have? When? What did you already try to solve it?
The trainer is not working for me. I open the trainer then press F1 at the menus. Afterwards I wait until the game is running, then I tried to press all the hotkeys but none of them works. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
run trainer
run game
load save or start civilization
wait until you can move your units and see your city ,etc.
THEN press F1 to activate

I can get all the options to work bar the gold one, tried using it and buying tried waiting a turn am I missing something?
Did you follow this from the Readme text file?
Numpad 2: Add Gold - click on one of your cities and then press this
key. Each press adds more. You will have to end the turn
or spend some to see it has increased.
Yeah tried it on different towns
Run the trainer with admin rights
Run the game
Load in your save or start a new game
When actually in the game (you can select cities and units) press F1 to activate the trainer
Try option again
