People need to wake up and get it in their heads most games unfortunately are console ports to pc, and if the developers are not aware they release a title on pc with locked 30 fps 9 times out of 10, and it is not a major problem since they will unlock it as time passes and from what i have read the game has a lot of things to offer.
So get a grip people 30 fps is for a short period of time, and hopefully it will take them 2 - 4 days tops to increase the fps to 60+ wishful thinking i know but 30 fps will not ruin it for me since i know either the developer will get a work around sorted or someone on a forum will find a work around.

Yea, howbout a big NO
This is a triple A Dev, its a Triple A title, there is NO excuse for this, and they were well aware of this, since they changed their minds on not sending out review copies a week ago, but instead just on top of release
there should never have been a lock in the first place

On the remark of them changing their minds. I think they realized too late that 30 fps is a problem within the much more vocal PC community (considering PC gamers are so used to such higher standards). It seems as if they kind of stumbled upon the last moment decisions on bringing it to the PC without considering any of the issues with that.
And I am confident enough to wager that the reason why they changed their minds on not sending review copies is the fact that channels like Angry Joe would start a 💩storm of rage on the internet. Then everyone would start cancelling their pre-order which is easier than refunding their games once they are redeemed, especially if their games are bought off retail stores or online game stores where keys are redeemed on Steam rather than directly on their own site.

Whelp, that's my collectors cancelt, 30 fps lock has no place on pc, there's no excuse for this crap 😣
2K is paying the price now, a 36 % rating on steam, and people refunding left n right
You're lucky enough to cancel your pre-order since you can still get the Collector's Edition from your local retail game store.
But I'm not cancelling mine because I pre-ordered it from Amazon.com and with its limited numbers run, I can never order the Collector's Edition in a excellent or perfect condition again since eBay's Global Shipping Program sucks when it comes to limited edition items.

For everyone crying about the 30fps they announced the ETA for the update allowing higher FPS and other UI options is this weekend. If you've requested a refunded, I hope you enjoy re-buying it.

Well, that's good and bad news then.
The good news is the framerates for the PC version of the game will be unlocked but the bad news is if the patch contains a new version number (e.g. ver. 1.01, etc.) than a letter suffix (1.00a, b, d, etc.) then Caliber has to make a new trainer to match the newer version.
