I think this game is going to be Epic anyhow, specially seeing how the campaign looks with better graphics and the sheer size.
I like how you can grow your cities etc. and add certain edicts to cities is a big step up, specially as I like the campaign side off things. Only 4 weeks left
Yeah, also with massive epic bugfest & glitches that surely would bring many headache for CH to create trainer after trainer for each patched version... like what happened with Shougan 2 TW... got patched almost every week after being released
I prefer much more stable games than a bright shiny graphic with massive bugfest glitches plaguing the game

well the thing is, when you try new things, it's not always going to go smoothly at the beginning. but atleast they do their best to fix the issues
Wheres the Celtic nations/ tribes? , still nothing comes close to watching your legion sweep across the globe
Yeah i would like to wipe out rome as Vikings but since Rome never engaged us, i don't think i will get what i want.
Still it would be cool with a barbarian expansion.
For everyone who is interested in buying Rome 2 and still needs a copy, GMG has good deal going.

...
Rome 2 will actually feature one more playable faction than Rome 1 did. (save for editing of playable factions in Rome 1 that is, which will be done in Rome 2 by modders not long after release)
Julii
Brutii
Scipii
Greek Cities
Egypt
Seleucid Empire
Carthage
Gaul
Germania
Britannia
Parthia
That's 11 I do believe.
Now for Rome 2's
Rome
Carthage
Macedon
Iceni
Arverni
Suebi
Parthia
Egypt
Pontus
Athens
Epirus
Sparta
That's 12 I believe.
And as far as my understanding goes 12>11, and there is no way in hell Seleucia won't be added in DLC material to Rome 2 (IMO, there should be a few others added in the future, Pergamom, to name one).
That's only if you play Vanilla and Rome was all about mods for sure, its confirmed that Rome 2 will be moddable but only as Shogun 2 was, it basically means that it won't be moddable unless you include darthmod, the rest was not worth mentioning.

Another one...
I wrote that in the first paragraph of my post...
Additionally, they will add more modding than Shogun 2 had, as they even bothered to make units (say spear units) react to WHATEVER weapon they may be given a different way.
