This may seem like a stupid question, but what OS are you utilizing?

Edit: The reason I am asking, is that if you are using XP you do not have support for Shader Model 4.0. If memory serves, users were suffering crash issues with Far Cry 3 for that reason (though I believe it was strictly CTD issues). If you are using Win Vista or better then everything you are using equipment/software wise should be supported. In that event, you may need to supply crash data here and one of the more tech savvy users is sure to be able to help you out in that event.

I have tried researching the issue (as I am certain you have as well) and found no definitive answers. I would recommend that you post a memory dump here for someone to review. I really hope they can help you out. Even though AC3 is buggy for the PC, it should not be crashing your system outright. Good luck, I am sorry I could not be of any help.

    The game isn't buggy.

And your hardware should be fine.

A couple of things why your computer is restarting

    1. Overheating
    2. Overclocking
    3. Bad RAM

Also why 1500W PSU? You only really needed about 800W max.

Also try the game without SLI.

    Also the Motherboard doesn't support 3 x 16 speed SLI'ing.

SLI 2 cards, and have 1 card being a dedicated Physx and Cuda card.

But honestly don't SLI all 3 cards anyway, you will only get 8x speed from all 3. SLI 2 on top 2 ports, to get 2x 16x and one dedicated for Physx and CUDA.
