heya everyone! have Windows 10, Steam, Doom 3 BFG Edition. downloaded the latest version of both the game n the trainer...still the same troubles, as the game instantly crashes to the Desktop the moment i hit F1 in the trainer...i dunno, but i'm starting to believe that Steam released a hidden anti-cheat mechanism...for which i've yet to counter. anyone have any suggestions, other than the list of troubleshooting solutions? i've included both me own game .exe n the savegame files, to help with the troubleshooting. perhaps CH will see something i've not?

Are you using the trainer from today?
aye that. downloaded the trainer from today n still the game crashes on F1. i don't mean to be a bother. i'll put in an update request as instructed. if it turns out it's just me own system, then i'm in more trouble than i thought...sorry!
No, don't be sorry. I am going to install the game myself and see what happens. I will report back here.
