World of Elder Scrolls anyone? Link
Anyway, co-op is one thing, MP is another, but a full blown MMO is just farts in a can. Like Serv said (that I said), it was inevitable, but still.
Hopefully, the fact that this has been in development since 2007, yet Beth still developed and released TESV is a good sign for us SP's.

I wondered when you would get here my faithful partner in crime.
Now after reading Luke Plunkett's article over on kotaku, I feel like shaking his hand. He can understand that TES is just a pure single player game and that the MMO is just going to be meh.

I had to wait a bit so I could make a dramatic entrance.
The thing which gets me is how it looks like yet another generic WOW-type MMO. There's being safe by using widely accepted gameplay, and then there's just being a generic clone with a different skin.
TES is about innovation I think. Each iteration of TES brings something new and great to the table. So far, TES Online doesn't look like it does anything which hasn't been done before.
If this will be an mmo only? Ya Frel that. Im all for an elderscrolls game with co-op as then serv you have your sp but then people like me who like co-op can player the game with others. I will agree tho this game can not be an mmo. They would have to change the combat and the hud around so much it aint a TES game. They are frelling morons end of story.
TES is not even a game that is made for co op that is the thing. TES is around that one person you (single player). So even having co op in there would mean having to change the story to compliment the second person. Which then would defeat the point of TES being the Greatest single player RPG that they have made over and over.

This game is as good as bought for me.
Seriously? It's a short CGI trailer with absolutely no representation of gameplay or mechanics. Or of anything else, actually.
@Serv: I think they could have made co-op work. I mean, you have companions in Skyrim and Oblivion (albeit all but one of them unofficial in the latter). Having a friend take control of your companion could have worked quite well.

It dose not even show anything other than what is a scaled dragon ring and a popular actor talking. Heck I forget his name. Going by that dose not even give a full enough base to say what you said.

That yes. I forget about the companion cause I never really used them Skyrim... But in Oblivion what companion? Only that one lass who I told to stay at home in Skyrim was what I used lol. If it was reworked then yes with the companion starting with you from the start. It would work. But as Skyrim stands the now no. But I do not have a love for co ops after Army of two..... Nightmare.
