no lag issues here. then again i am running a I7 core 4 gig of ram with a ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series vid card so i rarelly have any issue.
seeing alot of you laggers are running 6+ gig of ram. ever considered the obvious option? your 64 bit OS (taken for granted with that much ram) has to run a 32 bit emulater for any 32 bit app/game. odds are its choking itself doing so and actualyl causing you more problems than the extra resources can handle. may be better in long run to downgrade your system if you plan on having a serious gaming rig

Well cant really say its the 64-OS combine with the ram. I am running a 64-OS has with a HD 5970.
It did take them about 2 to 3 months to fix the drivers, when the 5970 came out. the drivers was making alot of games lag. Now it works right with out a problem.

aah yeah if drivers already have issue that would be it. :P good luck finding prob either way
fyi wasn't actually saying issue was ram and os just purely OS. from personal experience 64 bit is a joke unless your using a 64 bit encoded software and at this exact moment of tping there are less than 30 of thoose in comerical use. not really the ideal system for a gamer (could be worse could be gaming on a mac)

I honestly don't think that its a hardware issue for any of us. There is a large thread in the steam forums of people reporting the same stuttering issues. I think the only solution is a patch by the dev team, which will hopefully come in the near future

No one needs all high end stuff to make a game run well. All you need is to meet the spec's of the game. Make sure everything is up to date with out any problems.

Yeah, the problem is I'm pretty sure most of us PC gamers already keep our stuff updated. So if drivers are good and requirements are surpassed then the issue clearly lies elsewhere.
