I got serious problems with the game. My cards are choking for no apparent reason. I got two HD5800 cards crossfire and my settings are down to the lowest possible in this game and their getting frame rate loss at random times. WTF Seriously, I thought this game was supposed to be AMD/ATI optimized. The architecture of the 5800 top end cars isn't all that different from the HD6000 series so it's not making any sense. I guess they just want me to upgrade by making the game run like crap on my cards. Cause I had no problems with the Witcher 2 but nooo... Deus Ex decided to give me a crap experience. The beta ran much smoother on these cards. I don't get it.

Try it without crossfire see how that works. A lot of games don't like the crossfire sometimes it will miss it up like you seen. I am running a 5970 crossfire.

But first go to your video card settings and run the default mode see if it still does it and the game video default.

Make sure your you have the up to date drivers for your graphic card.

Yeah., I tried all that, I'm fairly tech savvy when it comes to hardware. I even wiped all traces of AMD drivers with drive sweeper and then wiped all registry bits left over with ccleaner. Re-Installed the latest cat 11.8 batch and still freaking sucks. I got ****ed off and checked on newegg for some decent HD6000 cards and they've dropped in price significantly so I ordered two and should have them in a couple of days.

Those are nice cards the HD6000 hope they work for ya. I buy all my computer parts at that place has well. Right now I am happy with the 1 HD5970 even tho I have two in the rig i build.

The only other thing I can think of is the cards are going bad or memory lick.

    Wish ya luck

I'm having some serious lag too and I don't have that issue with any of the other games on my PC even on their highest settings.

I would post a link to get the graphic drivers but CH have a terms/policy about but go to the graphic card home page and install the newest drivers (most of the time that works).

How I fix all my stuff I always wipe out everything every 6 month install everything over again from scratch. Some tech people do suggest that you do that yearly tho (depends on the person tho).

Only thing I can think of is that people who has lag has a memory lick.

Plus if you run a program call CoSMOS that will lag your game that I have seen if you run it in the background with steam.

Yeah I got a six core processor with six virtual cores and 8GB RAM so I'm good on the hardware, my main drive is SSD. With these new HD6950 cards it lags a bit when it first loads up but later runs good after about 3 minutes or so of random FPS drops. This game is giving Crysis a run for the money when it comes to benching your hardware.

I only get a bit during the cut scenes. But it corrects itself. Nothing big.
