For the past 2 days I've found that "#6", i.e., adding policy points, isn't working. It used to and all of the other functions are working.

It works for me. Make sure your not in a golden age tho. It doesn't work during a golden age
Another thing you could do is try redownloading the trainer.

My problem is I can't seem save a game and come back and play it later. As soon as I load a game which I used the trainer on (after several turns) I get a runtime error when it tries to load up the game and crashes.
I saw a ton of threads on official forums of people saying 69+ cities causes this runtime game load error...others say over turn 160+ causes this. So far I caused it 4 times... one with a game 31 turns, one with a game 22 turns, another with a game 14 turns... and the worst was today a 3 turn game and now i cant load it.
I notice that when I do not use the trainer I am able to reload the game without a crash.
I believe the reason is when you use "unlimited moves" I end up exploring the entire huge map very early in the game and expose the huge amount of enemy cities everywhere.
I think this is causes some bug in the game to glitch out. I am just hoping "2K games" fixes this issue or I wasted 50 bucks on this game. Over a week now and its only playable 1 sitting at a time... no going back.
Anyone else get this?

I'm getting the same problem. It looks like this might be an issue with Civ 5 itself rather than the trainer - there's a thread on the Steam forums about this issue:

Ok, just started using this trainer today. I have the Steam deluxe version of the game, and I can do most everything that the trainer says can be done. The one thing I have been unable to figure out how to speed up is production on wonders. Can you use unit or building time reduction in some way to reduce the number of turns it takes to complete a wonder? Maybe I am just doing something wrong.
I did a search in this forum but couldn't find anything specifically about this. Anyone have a tip?
Use the building reduction command for wonders. Just open city menu, activate the command, select the wonder, and then enter/exit the city (click, esc, click, esc) and active the building reduction command when it deactivates. Until you get the building down to one turn to build. (Some wonders wont work tho, like the Utopia project, Manhattan project, etc)
