you need otherwise it wont load the modded file.

archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\WarGear_1.sga = loads and works

archive.13 = GameAssets\Archives\WarGear_1.sga = does not load and works

From what I recall you need to have it as 0.1, the game reads it in the order and prioritize it as such. If you have it at the bottom the game will load the default system, at the top it will load the mod and overwrite the default load.

I am sorry the wargear mod isn't working for everyone. I will try in the future to make it more transparent on what to do.

The items that are just "icons" or don't seem to have titles are items that you would not get in the game. One is the lascannon from a predator. I have tried it in one mission but it looked rather silly for thaddeus to be jumping around with a predator turret on his head.

There are some late game items that may crash some of the missions. Much like in the original if Tarkus wore Term Armor at a particular Angel Gate mission. I do not know the particulars but if you are having trouble completing a mission you may want to remove anything suspicious.

(If you are still trying the -dev option and not the SGA file)

Someone said earlier in the thread that you can not have the file in it's own folder. This is correct and should be placed in the missions folder. I use steam with the game and put it in with the launch options for the program. A good way to check if you are using the -dev correctly is that you should not be able to play online. Last Stand should be faded out.

I tried to make this as simple as the one I used for the original campaign. If this doesn't work for everyone I hope someone can use my text file to create something that is easier.

The text file works fine for me. The only problem I'm having now is after I return from the mission at angel forge, when I go to change jonah's wargear I CTD. I used the book of galan to max out my corruption, maybe that has something to do with it.

hi i posted about a grpahics error i think im using the mod right ive placed it in the right files but ive tried both the mod and sga file but they both break my games graphics not just the itmes are not showing but the units and scenery are basically see through so that you cant see anything im using steam and as i said ive followed the instructions and tried both methods but its not working help please.
if any1 cud please help me with this would be much aprreicated also to solve this problem i had to reinstall both dow2 and chaos rising which fixed the graphics but i cant use the mod without the graphics breaking.

I had a crash where I max'd out Jonah's corruption. Whenever I selected him (for loadout) it would CTD. My only solution with this was to select a different squadmate and used the item that reduces everyone corruption.

You can get corrupt pretty high and then perhaps max it out through normal means.

I have tried everything on this board from creating a mission folder to the mod folder... NOTHING is working

everytime I try a new way, i have started a new game and played the first mission... it stinks
