Can i ask how did you managed to let all your members survived last mission? I did all main quests, all character quests, scaned all planets, finished about 20 side quests - means i think i did everything before going on last mission. And i lost 3 members which i guess depends only on decisions which member you choose for certain action in last mission. I lost Thane, Jack and Legion ( Thane was in those turbines and after closing first doors he got rocket headshot, Legion leaded the second group and after closing second door he came up damaged and died and Jack died even if i didnt order her nothing......)

I am also curious how you managed to save everyone as well. My first playthrough was very similar to yours - I too have imported a female paragon character from ME1 with decisions identical to those you described.

I was nice to everyone the entire game, have completed every side quest and made all of my team members loyal. And yet in the last mission I lost Samara. During the part when someone erects an energy dome around your team while to protect you from bugs (I assigned Thane to do that), Samara fell and got eaten by bugs right by the door. Everyone else survived but tbh, I sort of liked Samara and would have preferred someone like Thane or Legion to die instead.

Yeah how did you manage to save everyone?

to save everyone make sure you have everyone's loyalty, also you need to fully upgrade the ****, every single upgrade is needed (even the scanning/probes/fuel i believe) this will mean no one dies on your way to the collectors base, when you discuss assaulting the base choose Legion to go through the tunnel thing (heat conductor or something) legion is the best tech which will mean doors wont get stuck open and no one will die trying to close them, choose Garrus to lead the second team always, hes a natural leader, has experience and everyone trusts him, with him as second team leader second team doesn't lose anyone.

when splitting up the second time you need to choose a biotic to keep the seeker swarms back, choose Samara, she is the best biotic, this means no one gets taken by the swarms.

after that i believe it doesn't matter who you take with you to fight the reaper at the end (in my experience both your squad mates survive).

IF you go to save your crew and send them back to the Normandy (only if your there in time, take to long to go there and they die) choose either Tali or Mordin to escort them back, they are both nonessential to combat and will get your crew back safely.

if you've done all that then everyone should survive (including your abducted crew)

****e I just ended the game but will play again . Really nice game. I lost Thane due to door sticking thought would send him through as he is well a good infiltrator later released wasn't much of infiltrating lol. And well second i lost legion because i chose Jack to do the biotic thingy, because I thought if she dies I do not care lol but sadly Legion did. But well I will play it again hopefully with some DLCs .

Someone already answered, but I'm too lazy to read, so I'll answer.

To save everyone:

1) Install all Normandy upgrades. Yes, all.
2) Pass all the characters' personal quests to gain their full loyalty
3) Last but not least - pick the right team members in the final mission! Read the descriptions, and use your brain.

Tech required - it is Tali or Legion. I sent Legion because he is also good in combat. Survived.
2-nd group leader required - I sent Garrus. During his personal quest it becomes clear that he is a good and compassionate leadeer. I picked him both times to lead the 2-nd party. All survived.
Someone to send survivors with? Grunt the krogan, of course. Krogans are tough in combat, even alone they are like tanks and can take on the whole enemy squad.
Oh and forgot - for a biotic to protect from the swarms I chose Jack. Dunno about Samara, but I got the impression Jack is the most powerful biotic in game. All survived. Samara is probably better, but I havent tried, so I don't know.

I have almost 100% male-paragon save-game of ME2 (imported ME1).
I also did the choices in the last mission as mentioned above and I lost the Scientist.

I`m now on my second playthrough we`ll see what will now happen.

Same happened to me, except I used Jacob for escort. Everyone was stil alive by the time the final battle had started. But the Doc was dead afterwards.
