Well, I loaded my save, without the trainer, and still have the same problem.
I'm most likely going to have to start over and go through all that yap yap yapping all over again.

I really don't know about how Caliber makes trainers, but in my vague idea I think the trainer must have passed certain parameters to the game (Probably the game engine must be needing it to give effect to the options)...And thus the options might be patched forever on the save file or game file.
For such situations, disable the options with the Trainer. I am saying this because I have used trainers that have such kind of behaviour (Options active even without trainer).
I am not passing out the doubt that it might not be a game bug. If it is one, update the game (If you haven't already) and load an earlier save.
I also accuse the crack for giving such a problem, are you using a No DVD crack? If it is not properly done, then that might be the real problem.

Its probably because they are evil super wolves with invisible forcefields with 9999999999hp and they heal 1000hp per second.
Lol!
Yes, I'm using the crack. Yes, it's updated. I was using the 1.01 update with the last save, and just patched to 1.02 and started a new game.
After creating a new game, the same issue has happened.
It's either the No-DvD crack or the trainer.
Either way...the game is boring to me. Thought it was going to be different. F it.
then try it without the crack or the trainer but i'll take a wild stab that it's possible you cant try it without the crack?
